PAY WHAT YOU WANT (PWYW)

Pricing system is sliding scale, so the more you pay, the more detailed your commission will be! Note: PWYW commissions cannot be used for commercial purposes. Background details will be minimal to none. Edits will incur additional fees.

1. PAYMENT & REFUNDS

Transactions are handled via Artistree or VGen only. Invoice must be paid in full within 2 days of billing before work begins. No refunds once work has started (this is not negotiable under any circumstances).

a. Payment plans are negotiable. Failure to pay within 2 days of billing will result in the transaction being canceled and the client taken off the queue. If work hasn't started and you'd like to cancel, you'll be issued a full refund.

b. Chargebacks issued by the client without my knowledge will result in a dispute and the client blacklisted from future collaborations.

2. REVISIONS

Additional edits will have fees. If there are any errors in the finished product, I'll revise it for free.

a. Sketch commissions: 2 small revisions are free. Additional revisions: 15% each
b. Illustration commissions: initial sketch will be sent for feedback before rendering, then you may request 2 small revisions for free. Additional revisions or large edits will incur fees (depending on complexity):

i. Each additional small revision (small details, facial expression, etc): 15% each
ii. Large-scale revisions (pose change, background change, etc): starts at 30% each

3. UPDATES & DELIVERY

You'll receive the high resolution file once the commission is done. Delivery time varies depending on my schedule and complexity of your commission. I don't offer rush services for private commissions.

a. ETA is 1-3 weeks but may be longer. Updates will be provided at least once a week or you may ask for an update at any time. You can also view quick progress updates on my Trello

i. Commercial use commissions: deadlines can be discussed and will incur an additional fee.

b. I'm unable to send physical prints, client acknowledges that commissions are digital goods only.

4. CLIENT'S RIGHTS

Clients receives exclusive, non-transferable usage rights to the commission for personal use.

a. Personal use means: display on social media accounts for promotional purposes with no direct monetization (i.e. profile pictures [pfp], banners and posts, print and framing in personal spaces, display as part of designs on websites and channels, excluding use in content of these websites or channels).
b. Client can't claim the work as their own, you must have visible credit to me as the artist by:

i. linking my Carrd: oyasumichuri.crd.co
ii. tagging my social media on Twitter/Instagram/Threads: @oyasumichuri
iii. or by plain text: art by Oyasumi Churi

c. NDA's (non-disclosure agreement) to keep the commission private are negotiable for a fee.

5. ARTIST'S RIGHTS

I retain the right to decline any inquiry if I feel that I can't confidently fulfill the request, I'm uncomfortable with the subject matter, or for any other reason.

a. I retain artwork copyright and redistribution rights, which includes (but not limited to): display, advertising, the art itself, work in progress (WIPs) on websites, social media, portfolios, public broadcast channels (i.e. Twitch), etc.

i. My work is not allowed to be heavily edited. This includes, but not limited to: changing poses, anatomy, composition, colors or using filter overlays, using the liquify tool, etc, (basically any edit that's not done by me), coloring in sketch commissions and posting them on social media.

ii. Using commissions (both private and commercial) or my own personal art for others or myself to train AI (artificial intelligence) programs or use for NFT (non-fungible token) or any other cryptocurrency is strictly prohibited.
